The President's Office has no doubts that a mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which will visit Ukraine in September, will be satisfied with the reform process.

Spokesperson for the President of Ukraine Serhiy Nykyforov said this at a briefing on Tuesday, August 3, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"In September, the IMF mission will arrive in Ukraine to assess the progress of Ukraine on the path of reforms. If the mission is satisfied, which we have no doubts about, Ukraine will continue to receive the remaining tranches under the Stand-By Arrangement," he said.

He also recalled that Ukraine will receive more than USD 2.7 billion from the International Monetary Fund, which will help overcome the consequences of the coronavirus crisis and boost the economy.

As reported earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that cooperation with the IMF is very important for the country, so Ukraine continues to implement reforms and structural beacons to receive a new tranche under the Stand-By Arrangement.
