Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Hungarian Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto have signed an intergovernmental agreement on the mutual recognition of educational documents and scientific degrees.

According to an Ukrinform correspondent, Kuleba said this at a joint press conference with Szijjarto in Kyiv on Thursday, July 22.

"We have signed two documents: the first one is an agreement on the mutual recognition of documents on education and scientific degrees. Thanks to this agreement, Ukrainian citizens in Hungary and Hungarian citizens in Ukraine will be able to use national educational services," Kuleba said.

He added that the second document was a memorandum of cooperation in the field of diplomatic training.

Hungarian Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade and Chair of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe Peter Szijjarto is on a working visit to Ukraine at Kuleba's invitation.
