NSDC imposes sanctions on nine people on U.S. list, prepares new package
“Today we endorsed a decision to impose sanctions on nine people,” Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said at a briefing following the NSDC meeting on July 16, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
He added that a decision on the imposition of sanctions on other persons may be made at the next meeting of the National Security and Defense Council.
Danilov informed that two lists had been considered – filed by the Cabinet of Ministers and the Security Service of Ukraine. The list of 25 organizations and enterprises was sent for a two-week revision.
Danilov noted that the sanctions were not imposed on Kolomoisky, Derkach, and Dubinsky.
As reported, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine imposed sanctions on 100 Ukrainians who were sanctioned by the U.S. Department of Treasury.
