Sefcovic arrives in Ukraine

Vice President of the European Commission Maros Sefcovic has arrived in Ukraine on a two-day visit, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Matti Maasikas has said.
"Welcome to Ukraine, Maros Sefcovic! Two days of intense meetings, mainly focused on EU-Ukraine partnerships on raw materials and batteries, but also on Green Deal-related issues and reforms," Maasikas wrote on his Twitter account.
According to the European Commission, Sefcovic is expected to meet with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on July 13.
As part of his visit, Sefcovic is also expected to sign a memorandum of understanding between the European Union and Ukraine on a strategic partnership on raw materials.
