Representatives of Swiss, UK embassies visit checkpoints on administrative border with Crimea
"Yesterday, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova Claude Wild, diplomatic representatives of the UK Embassy in Ukraine, and Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Anton Korynevych paid a working visit to the administrative border with the temporarily occupied Crimea. Representatives of the delegation discussed the defense and security situation both in the region and on the administrative border with the occupied Crimea," the report reads.
The diplomatic representatives visited the Kalanchak and Chaplynka checkpoints, where they got acquainted with their work and the conditions for passing citizens across the administrative border with the occupied Crimea.
The Swiss ambassador noted that the international community supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine and hopes for the early return of the occupied territories of Ukraine.
As reported, Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to Ukraine Juris Poikāns, Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to Ukraine Kaimo Kuusk, and Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine Bartosz Cichocki visited Kramatorsk, where they met with the leadership of Donetsk region and the Joint Forces Command.
