Blinken, Zelensky to discuss Russian aggression – Department of State

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will discuss Russian aggression at a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as part of his working visit to Ukraine on May 5-6, U.S. Department of State spokesperson Ned Price has said in a press statement.

"The Secretary will travel to Kyiv, Ukraine, May 5-6, where he will meet with President Zelensky, Foreign Minister [Dmytro] Kuleba, other officials, and representatives of Ukrainian civil society to reaffirm unwavering U.S. support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Russia's ongoing aggression," the statement reads.

Price said that Blinken would also encourage continued progress on Ukraine's institutional reform agenda, particularly anti-corruption action, which is key to securing Ukraine's democratic institutions, economic prosperity, and Euro-Atlantic future.

According to the statement, as part of his visit to Europe, Blinken will also attend the G7 Foreign and Development Ministers' Meeting in London, the United Kingdom, on May 3-5.
