Zelensky on talk with Biden: We stand side by side when it comes to preserving our democracies

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Ukraine and the United States stand side by side when it comes to preserving democracies.
He wrote this on Twitter following his first phone talk with U.S. President Joe Biden, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"Pleased to talk to POTUS. Ukraine appreciates the support of the United States at various levels. We stand side by side when it comes to preserving our democracies. I am seriously determined to reform Ukraine, increase transparency and achieve peace," Zelensky wrote.
Zelensky stressed that U.S. partnership is crucial for Ukrainians.
On Friday, April 2, the presidents of Ukraine and the United States had their first phone call since Biden took office on January 20.
