Zelensky appoints heads of two district administrations in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv regions

President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed heads of Kamianske District State Administration in Dnipropetrovsk region and Loziv District State Administration in Kharkiv region.

The decrees on appointment, No.402/2021-rp and No.403/2021-rp as from April 2, have been published on the president’s website, Ukrinform reports.

In particular, Zelensky appointed Oleh Hapich as head of Kamianske District State Administration in Dnipropetrovsk region and Volodymyr Romakh as head of Loziv District State Administration in Kharkiv region.

As reported by Ukrinform, as part of the reform of decentralization in Ukraine in 2020, 1,469 territorial communities were created instead of 11,500, and 136 districts were formed instead of 490.
