President's Office preparing for Zelensky's visit to Poland in early May

The President's Office is preparing for Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to Warsaw in early May to take part in celebrations marking the 230th anniversary of the Constitution of Poland, Deputy Head of the President's Office Ihor Zhovkva has told Ukrinform.

He said this after the 29th meeting of the Consultative Committee of the Presidents of Ukraine and Poland.

Zhovkva said that the parties had agreed on the schedule of contacts at the highest level for this year.

"We expect Polish President Andrzej Duda to participate in the inaugural summit of the Crimean Platform and events marking the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence. In turn, we are planning President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to Warsaw in May for participation, together with other European leaders, in celebrations marking the 230th anniversary of the Constitution of Poland," Zhovkva said.

He added that these were really important events for every state so the support of friends is more important than ever.
