Zelensky greets Greece on Independence Day

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated Greece on Independence Day and said he hopes that President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou will visit Ukraine to celebrate the 30th anniversary of independence.

President Zelensky wrote this on his Twitter account, Ukrinform reports.

“Sincere congratulations to President Katerina Sakellaropoulou on Independence Day! The struggle for independence is closely linked to Odesa & the south of Ukraine, a home to many Greeks. Look forward to your visit on the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence to enhance our cooperation,” he wrote.

Greek Independence Day is a national holiday celebrated annually in Greece on March 25.
