A number of bilateral documents have been signed in the presence of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda, who is on an official visit to Ukraine.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva and Chief Foreign Policy Adviser to the President of Lithuania Asta Skaisgirytė signed the Protocol of the Thirteenth Meeting of the Council of Presidents of Ukraine and the Republic of Lithuania. The document reflects the main agreements reached during the thirteenth meeting of the Council of Presidents of Ukraine and the Republic of Lithuania. In particular, the common position on further development of strategic relations between Ukraine and the Republic of Lithuania is confirmed. The Protocol identifies practical issues of bilateral cooperation on international and regional policy and security, cooperation between Ukraine and Lithuania within international and regional organizations. It emphasizes the importance of continuing Lithuania's contribution to the implementation of Ukraine's strategic goals on EU and NATO membership. The document reaffirms the importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the areas of mutual interest, namely in the fields of defense and security, energy, transport and logistics, education and science, culture and tourism.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba and Minister of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania Monika Navickienė signed an Agreement between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania on cooperation in youth policy. The document notes the special role of youth in building international relations between Ukraine and the Republic of Lithuania and emphasizes the mutual interest of the parties in further strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of youth policy to promote Ukraine's integration into the European Union.

Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine Oleksandr Tkachenko and Minister of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania Simonas Kairys signed the Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania. The document is aimed at ensuring the further development of Ukrainian-Lithuanian cultural cooperation, including theater, music, choreography, fine and amateur arts, cinematography, literature, creative industries, library and museum sphere, protection and rational use of monuments and other cultural and historical heritage sites.

A Technical Agreement was also signed on the contribution of the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection of Ukraine to the activities of the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence. The signing of the Technical Agreement completes the process of Ukraine's accession to the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence located in Vilnius. Its member states, in addition to the Republic of Lithuania, are Great Britain, Georgia, Estonia, Italy, Latvia, Germany, Poland, USA, Turkey, Finland, France. The purpose of the Center is to provide comprehensive and timely expertise and analysis on energy security to NATO countries, partner countries and other institutions; develop the Alliance's capabilities, assess the effectiveness of its missions and the compatibility of NATO units in terms of energy security. The document was signed by Acting Minister of Energy of Ukraine Yuriy Vitrenko.

In addition, Acting Minister of Energy of Ukraine Yuriy Vitrenko and Minister of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania Dainius Kreivys signed a Joint Declaration of Intent to establish a working group on enhanced strategic cooperation in the energy sector. The document recognizes the importance of strengthening strategic cooperation between the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania, including national regulatory authorities and transmission system operators, based on the Memorandum of Understanding on strategic cooperation in the field of energy signed on December 18, 2017 between the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania.

Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Krykliy and Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania Marius Skuodis signed a Memorandum between the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania on intention to cooperate in the development of passenger and freight rail transport, as well as in the elaboration of digital procedures for issuing permits for international road transportation of passengers and goods. The purpose of the document is to promote the development of further mutually beneficial cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Lithuania in the fields of rail and road transport, as well as to deepen bilateral cooperation in the exchange of information, knowledge and experience in these areas.

The Memorandum of Cooperation in the Transition from Institutional Care to Family Forms of Education and Provision of Social Services at the Community Level between the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine and the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania was signed by Minister of Social Policy Maryna Lazebna and Minister of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania Monika Navickienė. The memorandum was signed in order to further expand Ukrainian-Lithuanian cooperation in the social sphere, provide the necessary legal conditions for the development of bilateral Ukrainian-Lithuanian relations in the field of family education, as well as to provide social services at the community level.
