Michel: EU to defend territorial integrity of Ukraine and Georgia

The European Union will defend the territorial integrity of Ukraine and Georgia.

"In the coming weeks, I will have an opportunity to visit Ukraine and Georgia. I will speak there about how we want to fulfil our solidarity with these countries, while also defending the values ​​of territorial integrity of Ukraine and Georgia,” President of the European Council Charles Michel said at a joint press conference with the prime ministers of the Visegrad Group in Krakow as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Group on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In Krakow, we discussed our common challenges: COVID-19 coordination & recovery, Climate & Digital, Security & Defense, External relations & European values,” the European Council President posted on Twitter.

President of the European Council Charles Michel plans to visit Ukraine on March 2-3 and make a trip to Donbas.
