Ukrainian ambassador, Egyptian MPs discuss political cooperation between countries

Ambassador of Ukraine to Egypt Yevhen Mykytenko met with Speaker of the Senate of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Wahab Abdel Razek to discuss political cooperation between the two countries.
The conversation took place in the presence of Senate General Secretary Mahmoud Etman and Deputy Foreign Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Assem Hanafy on January 31, 2021, the press service of the Ukrainian Embassy in the Arab Republic of Egypt reported.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, scientific and humanitarian fields.
Moreover, the interlocutors underlined the importance of exchanging visits of parliamentary delegations.
Mykytenko handed over a letter to the Senate’s speaker from the chairman of the Ukrainian parliament, Dmytro Razumkov, congratulating him on taking office as head of the recently reestablished and newly elected upper house of the Egyptian parliament.
