Zelensky congratulates Portuguese president on winning re-election

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa on winning a second term as Portugal’s president and pledged to deepen cooperation between the countries.
He wrote about this on Twitter on January 25, Ukrinform reports.
"I sincerely congratulate Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa on winning re-election. Following our recent phone conversation, I am determined to further deepen cooperation between Ukraine and Portugal. I look forward to our future meeting," Zelensky said.
On January 13, a phone conversation took place between the presidents of Ukraine and Portugal.
Portugal’s President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa won a landslide re-election on Sunday, January 24, with 60.7 percent of the vote.
