Yenin, Indian ambassador discuss development of political contacts between two countries

During the meeting, the diplomats discussed the development of political contacts between Ukraine and India in 2021, and agreed to hold political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries in the near future.

The interlocutors noted the dynamic development of bilateral trade and investment cooperation. The parties discussed the possibility of involving Indian companies in the implementation of transport, energy and infrastructure projects in Ukraine.

Yevhen Yenin and Partha Satpathy stressed the importance of holding a meeting of the Ukrainian-Indian Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, Industrial and Cultural Cooperation in 2021, which will promote comprehensive cooperation between Ukraine and India.

In addition, the issue of cooperation between the two countries in the field of education was raised. Yenin spoke about the creation of an electronic platform for organizing the educational process of foreign students in Ukraine.
