Zelensky extends birthday greetings to Steinmeier

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on his 65th birthday and thanked him for supporting Ukraine.
The head of state posted birthday greetings on Twitter.
"My sincere congratulations to Mr. Federal President Steinmeier! Wish you good health & success, prosperity & peace to the German people. Ukraine appreciates Germany's support in bringing peace back to Donbas, implementing reforms & countering COVID-19," Zelensky wrote.
Steinmeier was born in Detmold, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, on January 5, 1956. He has served as Germany's president since 2017.
