Razumkov: No grounds for early parliamentary elections

There are no grounds for early termination of powers of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation.
"If we talk about the work of the Parliament, it works now. You see both the number of laws we consider and the number of lawmakers who are directly involved in the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, both in the hall and outside it, and many other things. They prove that today the Parliament is able to function," Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov said on the air of 112 Ukraine TV channel, the Verkhovna Rada portal reports.
The Speaker also expressed hope that in the future there would be no reasons for early parliamentary elections.
"Any political force must always be ready for elections," he noted.
According to Razumkov, if the preconditions [for early elections] do arise, he will act within the law.
