Kuleba to attend North Atlantic Council's meeting in Turkey

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will make a working visit to Turkey on December 2 to participate in a meeting of the North Atlantic Council at the level of foreign ministers with the participation of Ukraine and Georgia, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's press service has reported.

According to the report, the main topic of the meeting, which will be held via videoconference, will be strengthening security in the Black Sea region.

"Dmytro Kuleba will inform NATO member states about the security threats from Russia's temporary occupation of Crimea to the Black Sea region, human rights violations and norms of international humanitarian law on the Ukrainian peninsula," the report reads.

The minister will also present the Crimean Platform, the Ukrainian president's initiative aimed at consolidating the efforts of the international community to ensure the deoccupation of Crimea.

Kuleba is also to hold a number of bilateral meetings with Turkish officials, including Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
