During a videoconference scheduled for November 13, advisers to the Normandy Four leaders will raise the issues of intensifying the work of the Trilateral Contact Group and the action plan presented by the Ukrainian side.

Deputy Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office Ihor Zhovkva said this on the air of Radio NV, Ukrinform reports with reference to the press service of the President’s Office.

“Some time has passed since the summit of the leaders of the Normandy format countries was held last December, but this does not mean that the work was not carried out. The Normandy format exists not only at the level of leaders, presidential advisers actively communicate with each other. The planned videoconference of the Normandy Four leaders' advisers will take place tomorrow,” Zhovkva said.

According to him, the agenda of this videoconference includes a discussion of ways to revitalize the TCG.

He noted that Ukraine is trying to speed up the negotiation process, offering constructive steps, in particular the action plan, which the Ukrainian side has already presented at the TCG working subgroup on political issues.

“We need to intensify the process within the TCG and make Russia fulfill its obligations and agreements,” Zhovkva stressed.

At the same time, he added that President Volodymyr Zelensky constantly communicates with the leaders of the Normandy format countries.

As Ukrinform reported, on November 6, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that a video meeting of advisers to the leaders of the Normandy Four countries would be held on November 13.
