Head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) Leonid Kravchuk calls for a mutual release of all detainees by the end of the current year.

The Ukrainian delegation to the TCG reported this on Facebook following the TCG meeting on November 11, Ukrinform reports.

"The head of the Ukrainian delegation called for bringing all mutually detained persons back home for Christmas and New Year, which would be an example of high morale and responsibility of the participants, a sign of their desire to agree on other positions," reads the report.

As Ukrinform reported, 112 Ukrainians are illegally detained in places of imprisonment on the territory of the Russian Federation and illegally annexed Crimea, 235 Ukrainian citizens are held captive in the certain districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions (ORDLO).
