Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed the heads of Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk and Sumy regional state administrations.

The relevant decrees were published on the website of the head of state, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"To dismiss Roman Hryshchenko from the post of head of Sumy Regional State Administration in accordance with his resignation letter," says decree No.490/2020.

Also, by decrees No.489/2020 and No.488/2020, the President dismissed Maksym Kutsy as chairman of Odesa Regional State Administration and Vitaliy Fedoriv as head of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration. They both were dismissed according to their resignation letters.

As Ukrinform previously reported, at a meeting on November 4, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved draft presidential decrees on the resignation of heads of Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk and Sumy regional state administrations.

PM Denys Shmyhal noted that these personnel decisions were made due to the lack of effective work of officials.
