This is evidenced by results of the nationwide poll "Five questions from the President" as 74% of questionnaires were processed, Ukrinform reports with reference to the press service of the Servant of the People party.
In particular, the idea of the introduction of life imprisonment for large-scale corruption is supported by 82.97% of respondents and opposed by 13.87%.
As reported, Ukrainians were asked to answer five questions from the President on the local elections day.
In a video address on October 13, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that a nationwide poll would take place on October 25 along with the local elections.
Ukrainians were asked to answer questions related to introducing life imprisonment for large-scale corruption on, creating a free economic zone in Donbas, reducing the number of Verkhovna Rada members to 300, legalizing medical cannabis, and raising the issue of the use of security guarantees defined by the Budapest Memorandum at the international level.
