The meeting took place within the framework of the visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Ukrinform reports with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
"Dmytro Kuleba informed Dominic Raab about the creation of the Crimean Platform – a new international platform that consolidates international efforts towards de-occupation of Crimea – and invited the United Kingdom to participate in it," the Foreign Ministry's press service informs.
As noted, the Ukrainian minister thanked his colleague for UK's unwavering stance on supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity within the internationally recognized borders and praised Britain's practical steps to support defence capabilities of Ukraine and implementation of reforms.
The parties also welcomed the planned signing of the UK-Ukraine Agreement on Political Cooperation, Free Trade, and Strategic Partnership which brings bilateral relations to the level of strategic partnership.
In addition, Dmytro Kuleba and Dominic Raab supported maintaining political and diplomatic pressure on Russia in order to force it to respect international norms and stop aggression against Ukraine.
Kuleba and Raab also agreed on further coordination of actions within the UN and other international organizations, deepening cooperation in the field of migration, and discussed the development of trade and investment between the two countries.
