Zelensky: EU ready to join Crimean Platform initiative

"I am glad that the European Union is fundamentally ready to join our initiative for the Crimean Platform format," President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said at a press conference within the framework of the 22nd EU-Ukraine Summit on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

According to him, the Summit participants discussed in detail ongoing human rights violations in Crimea and EU's involvement in the protection of Crimean people who suffer from temporary occupation and political persecutions.

As reported, the 22nd EU-Ukraine Summit took place in Brussels on Tuesday.

On September 23, President Volodymyr Zelensky presented the concept of the international Crimean Platform to the UN and invited international partners to join the initiative for de-occupation of Crimea.
