Ukraine’s Interior Ministry expects to receive two helicopters this year

“In March last year, the Ministry of Internal Affairs signed an agreement for the latest modification of Airbus' H145 helicopter. This year we expect to receive one more H145 and one H225 helicopter,” the report says.

As noted, the aviation personnel of the Water and Air Police Department passed the first stage of flight preparation. In particular, six technical personnel underwent training at the Airbus Helicopters Training Academy in Germany.

As reported, on March 6, 2019, the Interior Ministry signed an agreement for the supply of the latest modification of H145 helicopter.

In 2018, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry signed a contract with French company Airbus Helicopters for the purchase of 55 H225, H145 and H125 helicopters for the ministry.
