Government approves draft agreement on nuclear safety cooperation with EU

The Ukrainian government has approved a draft agreement on nuclear safety cooperation with the European Union.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated this at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on September 2, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"We will extend the agreement on cooperation with European partners in the field of nuclear safety," Shmyhal said.

According to him, this document is among the agreements aimed at implementing the government's program to expand the amount of assistance provided to Ukraine under EU financial aid.

The Ukrainian government also approved an interagency working group on the European Green Deal project.
