Ukraine's prosecutor general, Turkey's ambassador discuss security cooperation

Ukraine's Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova has met with Turkey's Ambassador to Ukraine Yagmur Ahmet Guldere, the press service of the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office has reported.

According to the report, both parties discussed bilateral cooperation, including in the field of security, international legal cooperation and investment protection.

"We are ready to develop our cooperation as part of Ukrainian legislation. In particular, the Prosecutor General's Office will deepen international legal cooperation with Turkey. The prosecutor's office, within its powers, is also working to protect investments. We have created a special unit that monitors and responds to illegal encroachments on business. Interaction with international partners and promoting a comfortable climate for them is our priority," Venediktova said.

The ambassador, in turn, said that Ukraine and Turkey are strategic partners and expressed his readiness to cooperate with the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office.
