Olha Pishchanska appointed new head of Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has approved the appointment of Olha Pishchanska as Chairperson of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.

Some 255 MPs voted for the relevant resolution, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

Olha Pishchanska previously worked as first deputy head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine and served as acting head of the Committee after the dismissal of Yuriy Terentyev.

As reported, on July 3, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Yuriy Terentyev from the post of chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee, which he had held since May 25, 2015.
