A meeting of the leaders of Ukraine, Germany, France and Russia may take place in Berlin in August if the agreements reached at the Paris summit in December 2019 are fully implemented.

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Reznikov said this live on the Freedom of Speech program on the ICTV channel on Monday, July 6, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

“The meeting of the political leaders of the "Normandy Four" countries will take place when it becomes clear that the Paris agreements are implemented. I am sure that such a meeting is possible in August. This is possible provided that we are moving forward,” Reznikov said.

He added that he does not idealize the Russian side in the negotiation process and clearly understands when it is buying time and when it is trying to achieve something.

On December 9, a Normandy Four summit was held in Paris. It was attended by Volodymyr Zelensky, Emmanuel Macron, Angela Merkel and Vladimir Putin.
