Zelensky, Conte hope for early resumption of flights between Ukraine and Italy

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of the Italian Republic Giuseppe Conte expressed hope for the resumption of regular flights between the countries in the near future.
They discussed this issue during a call on Friday, July 3, the press service of the head of state reported.
“The interlocutors expressed hope for the resumption of scheduled flights between the two countries in the near future. The Prime Minister of Italy stressed that he greatly appreciated Ukrainian tourists. In addition, the parties hope for a speedy restoration of economic ties,” the report reads.
Zelensky reiterated the invitation to Giuseppe Conte to visit Ukraine, and the Italian PM expressed hope that the visit could take place by the end of this year.
