Government approves resignation of Kirovohrad region governor

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the resignation of Andriy Balon as head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration.
The decision was supported at a special government meeting on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"The resignation of Andriy Balon from the post of head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration has been approved," said Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
Balon became the head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration in November 2019.
