Oleksandr Yarema appointed as State Secretary of Cabinet of Ministers

The government has appointed Oleksandr Yarema as State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
The decision on the appointment was approved at a special government meeting on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"We dismiss Mr. Bondarenko and appoint Mr. Yarema as State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers," said Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
Prior to this appointment, Yarema held the position of First Deputy State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
From February 2020 to March 2020, he headed the State Agency for Youth Development and Civil Society of Ukraine.
On March 23, 2020, the government appointed Yarema as First Deputy State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers.
