Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov has stated he hopes that the Verkhovna Rada will adopt at first reading the bill "On Virtual Assets" during the current session.
"Until the end of the session, which begins on Monday in the Verkhovna Rada, we plan to introduce and adopt several bills at first reading. This is a bill on virtual assets, which essentially legalizes the use of virtual assets in our country," he said at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
In addition, Fedorov has said he expects the parliament to support the bill on state registers.
"We also plan to amend the law on nuclear energy, which will allow us to open the market in order to create large data centers located near nuclear power plants. And this is the issue of centralization of registers, the issue of optimization of spending on digital development," he said.
