EU calls on Russia to put an end to human rights violations in Crimea

The European Union has called on the Russian Federation to stop human rights violations in Crimea.
The Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine released a relevant statement on the 76th anniversary of deportation of the Crimean Tatar people.
“Today we remember the Soviet deportation of Crimean Tatars from their homeland. We remember all who suffered. The EU calls on Russia to put an end to the Human rights violations in Crimea and does not recognize the illegal annexation of the peninsula by Russia,” reads the statement.
