Polish consular institutions in Ukraine will resume issuing work visas on Monday, May 4, the Polish Embassy in Ukraine has reported.

"Initially, only documents will be accepted for the purpose of obtaining visas for agricultural and horticultural work, as well as international transportation," the embassy said.

According to the report, in view of this, starting from April 30, applicants with respective supporting documents for agricultural and horticultural work, as well as international transportation, may get registered for the submission of visa documents in the e-konsulat electronic system.

At the same time, the admission of applicants for a purpose other than obtaining a work visa from the above categories, even with the current registration and the availability of all necessary documents, will not be carried out.

Ukrainian citizens began receiving Polish work visas by post on Wednesday, April 29. In this case, such an agreement was reached by the consular services of Poland in Ukraine and several ministries.

Polish consular institutions in Ukraine suspended their operation from March 16 due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

The Polish Embassy in Kyiv and Polish consulates general in Lviv, Lutsk, Vinnytsia, Kharkiv and Odesa are functioning in Ukraine.
