Parliament ratifies grant agreement for Ukraine’s Higher Education Project

Some 334 MPs have voted in favor of relevant bill No.0034 at an extraordinary meeting on Thursday, April 16, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

According to an explanatory note, the law envisages conditions to implement project "Ukraine’s Higher Education”, funded by the European Investment Bank and the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation.

The law aims to assist participating universities in improving the quality and reliability of their services and energy efficiency by enhancing institutional capacity through a variety of activities and measures aimed at energy efficiency and optimization of management processes.

The E5P Fund grant agreement with the European Investment Bank to implement Ukraine’s Higher Education Project was signed on December 17, 2018.
