PM Shmyhal expects parliament to consider amendments to state budget in a week
"We want doctors, who are safeguarding our citizens' lives and health today and who often risk their lives and health, to receive at least what front-line soldiers receive. This is important for us and this requirement will also be envisaged in the law, and I hope that it will be supported, and even sure that it will be approved in 7-8 days,” Shmyhal said during the Svoboda Slova political talk show on ICTV, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
The prime minister added that the updated macroeconomic forecast envisaged in the amendments to the state budget had been developed based on the forecast of the Economy Ministry, the Finance Ministry and the IMF. "I cannot call it optimistic or pessimistic, it is the calculation on which we have based our budget," Shmyhal said.
