President calls on parties to donate their budget funds to medicine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky urged political parties receiving budget financing in 2020 to donate this money to the needs of Ukrainian doctors.
“I would like to point out separately the decision of the Servant of the People party to completely abandon the budget financing and to give all these funds to the needs of Ukrainian doctors. I urge other political parties to do the same,” Zelensky said in his address to Ukrainians, the press service of the Head of State reports.
The Servant of the People political party abandoned the state funding of the party's activities for 2020, as provided by the law. The party requested to transfer the entire budget financing of the party's activities to a government-created stabilization fund to ensure the needs of Ukrainian medics fighting the pandemic coronavirus.
