"I am pleased to welcome all ministers. We have a lot of work to do, we need to proceed to work quickly. I would like to point out that the government and ministries will do their utmost to ensure that the result is positive and felt by the people. That is why today we have to vote, first and foremost, for personnel issues needed for the launch of a new government," Shmyhal said.

According to him, now the Cabinet of Ministers faces serious economic, social and political challenges. "We are aware that it will not be easy to solve problems. That is why for the next Cabinet meeting we are preparing today the decisions that reflect the remarks that I made yesterday in parliament - from the implementation of reforms to the country's readiness to a possible coronavirus outbreak," Shmyhal said.

Considering also the situation with the detected precedent for the spread of coronavirus in the country and the situation in the world, at the first meeting it was decided to strengthen the operational headquarters on preventing the spread and penetration into Ukraine of acute respiratory infection caused by the Covid-19 coronavirus.
