At the same time, the U.S. Embassy thanked Oleksiy Honcharuk and his team for their productive cooperation over the past six months in support of the partnership between the two countries.
As Ukrinform reported, at an extraordinary meeting on March 4, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Oleksiy Honcharuk from the post of Ukraine's prime minister. A total of 353 MPs voted for this decision.
The Verkhovna Rada appointed Denys Shmyhal as Ukraine's prime minister and approved the composition of the new Cabinet of Ministers.
