PM Honcharuk fires deputy energy minister for coal issues

The Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed Stanislav Kovalevsky from the post of deputy minister of energy and environmental protection, who was responsible for the coal sector in the ministry, according to a government decree of March 3, 2020.

"To relieve Stanislav Kovalevsky of the post of Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection of Ukraine in accordance with the first paragraph of the second part of Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine "On Central Executive Bodies"," the document says.

Kovalevsky was appointed as deputy minister in October 2019.
