Ukraine issues travel warning for two cities in South Korea

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has advised Ukrainian citizens to temporarily refrain from traveling to the South Korean cities of Daegu and Cheongdo, which have been designated as special zones due to the spread of the coronavirus.

A respective recommendation was made public by the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

"Due to the worsening of the epidemic situation related to the spread of the new type of coronavirus (2019-nCoV/Covid-19) on the territory of the Republic of Korea, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine recommends that citizens of Ukraine temporarily refrain from traveling to the cities of Daegu and Cheongdo. The Government of the Republic of Korea has designated Daegu and Cheongdo as 'special care zones'," the report said.

Ukrainian citizens, who already stay in South Korea, were advised to exercise caution and avoid visiting crowded places.
