Great Britain supports Ukraine’s sovereignty and awaits Zelensky’s visit
Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Christopher Pincher said this during his speech at the UK Parliament, the Embassy of Ukraine in the UK wrote on its Twitter account.
“The United Kingdom is a strong supporter of Ukraine's reforms, providing millions of pounds for technical assistance, as well as its territorial integrity. We lead robust sanctions on Russia for its attacks on Ukraine's sovereignty," Pincher said.
According to him, the UK is looking forward to welcoming President Zelensky as soon as a date is agreed.
As Ukrinform reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the temporary introduction of a visa-free regime for citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
This step was taken with the aim of developing and implementing the principles of partnership between Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
