Government approves plan for improving emergency medical care system

The Cabinet of Minister has approved a plan for implementing the concept of emergency medical care system development, Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk has written on his Telegram channel.

“In 2020, we will equip 200 emergency departments. The Government has approved a plan for the implementation of the Concept of Emergency Medical System Development. The first step in this direction has been taken,” he wrote.

According to Honcharuk, the plan provides for a fundamentally new procedure for pre-hospital categorization of emergency calls. For this purpose, the activity of ambulance dispatchers’ service will be improved. In particular, it is planned to introduce a new model for the distribution of responsibilities among ambulance staff, as well as up-to-date standards of hospital aid in emergency departments etc.
