Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Polish President Andrzej Duda have made statements to media representatives.

Their speeches were broadcast by the Office of the President of Ukraine.

“Andrzej Duda and I have openly discussed issues of the common past for the sake of the future. Ukraine resumed search operations, and Polish experts conducted the first excavations in the Lviv region. We expect Poland to restore the damaged Ukrainian grave on Monastery Mountain and take it under protection," Zelensky said in a tweet following a meeting with Duda.

Zelensky is on a working visit to Poland on January 26-27.
