Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk met with Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

“The first meeting within the framework of a working visit to Davos is held with Finland’s Prime Minister Sanna Marin. The last meeting at the government level took place five years ago. Ukraine is one of the largest emerging markets. I called on Finland to invest in Ukraine,” Honcharuk posted on his Telegram channel.

Honcharuk assured his colleague that Ukraine appreciates Finland's support for the implementation of energy efficient solutions in Ukraine. The Finland Ukraine Trust Fund encourages cooperation between the two countries in this area.

Heads of government of the two countries discussed strengthening cooperation in the educational field, in particular, within the framework of the project Finnish Support for the Ukrainian School Reform. The project is aimed at reforming the school and vocational education system in Ukraine.

Honcharuk thanked Finland for its unwavering support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as for its firm stance on anti-Russian sanctions imposed over the armed aggression against Ukraine.
