Kyslytsia becomes Ukraine’s permanent representative to United Nations

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Serhiy Kyslytsia as Ukraine’s permanent representative to the United Nations.

The decree to that effect has been posted on the president’s website.

"To appoint Kyslytsia Serhiy Olehovych as Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations,” reads the document.

Earlier, President Zelensky dismissed Volodymyr Yelchenko as Ukraine’s permanent representative to the United Nations and ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Jamaica.

Serhiy Kyslytsia served as deputy foreign minister of Ukraine since March 2014.
