Zelensky pays tribute to Chornobyl liquidators

On the Day of honoring the participants in the liquidation of consequences of the Chornobyl disaster, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the memorial to “Warriors of Chornobyl” and the memorial burial mound to “Heroes of Chornobyl”.
The head of state and participants of the ceremony observed a minute of silence in tribute to the liquidators of Chornobyl disaster, the president’s press service reported.
The event was attended by Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov and Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk.
