The President of Ukraine had planned to raise the issue of annexed Crimea at the Normandy Four summit but the parties did not come to the detailed discussion.

“To be honest, I was preparing thoroughly and wanted to discuss the issue very much. We spent much time while discussing the very first point concerning the disengagement of troops. I had my stance. We discussed that one issue for 30-40 minutes. Afterwards, the exchange [of prisoners] was discussed, it went easier... We didn't come to the issue of Crimea in detail," Volodymyr Zelensky told Ukrainian journalists, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

The President of Ukraine noted that he had mentioned the issue of Crimea in his opening remarks.

At the same time, Zelensky promised to raise the issue of annexed Crimea at the next Normandy Four summit which should take place in four months.

As reported, Volodymyr Zelensky declared the impossibility of federalization of Ukraine and cession of its territories, including Crimea and Donbas.
