Speaker Razumkov: Decentralization reform to be completed soon

He said this at a meeting with students of the Zhytomyr Regional Lyceum for Gifted Children, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“Decentralization is a real example of good reform. Unfortunately, it is still incomplete. I think that we will be able to complete it soon and hold elections under the new system. It will really make it possible to create better conditions for local government, starting from schools, colleges, higher educational institutions, because local government can better decide, rather than Kyiv, on the areas of money spending and control this,” the speaker said.

According to him, the decentralization reform will be completed soon, and Ukrainians will be able to experience both qualitative and quantitative changes.

As Ukrinform reported, speaker Razumkov is on a working visit to Zhytomyr region on December 9.
